Prank-O 2023 "Fresh out the Oven" Campaign
As the champion of funny, Prank-O is constantly innovating and creating new comedic designs for our world-famous prank gift box. In 2023, we introduced four new prank gift boxes: The Squirrel Hot Tub, The Cat Hat, Pet Tail Extensions, and Fire Chief. These new comedic designs hit the market with a clever "chef inspired" themed campaign, viral UGC videos, and amazing SEO, sparking laughter and igniting a wildfire of conversation among consumers. Ultimately, these four new boxes set us up for retail success for the 2023 holiday season.

Once the four new box designs hit production, we created our "Fresh out the Oven" campaign for a launch in October 2023. The concept of "Fresh out the Oven" involves us, the master chefs here at Prank-O, cooking up something special for our new box designs. Working with our copy writer, I designed and created the new campaign including photography, video, and social media content.

I designed a teaser email to introduce the campaign and the four new prank gift boxes that were set to hit both our online store and Amazon.

We utilized strategic partnerships with new content creators, creating multiple UGC videos to highlight the four new prank gift boxes for the upcoming holiday season.

I styled and directed a company-wide photoshoot to gather new images and video content we could use for web, social, and other marketing materials. I focused on getting lifestyle images with different backgrounds as well as staged holiday gift openings. I faced a challenge of getting genuine reactions out of my co-workers who have seen and interacted with the product many times. I had each person read out the descriptions on the boxes and was able to pull genuine smiles and laughter, as they all began laughing with one another having an amazing time.

As part of the "Fresh out the Oven" campaign, I worked with our copy writer to create a unique blog post for the Prank-O Blog: Laughing Matters. This post showed a behind-the-scenes look at the preliminary sketches and different early concepts of each of the new prank gift boxes. We saw a great amount of engagement not only within our website traffic but also within email as well.
